Would you like to be part of the University of Missouri High School’s chapter of the (U.S.) National Honors Society?

The National Honor Society (NHS) is the United States’ premier organization established to recognize outstanding high school students. NHS serves to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, and character.” —About Us, National Honor Society

Basic criteria includes: enrollment in the University of Missouri High School’s diploma program, a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher, at least 6 high school credits completed, and least 3 credits completed through University of Missouri High School. Interested students should thoughtfully fill out the application candidate form which will then be reviewed by our NHS committee. Enrollment periods are October and April annually.

The National Honor Society Chapter at University of Missouri High School is a wonderful opportunity for you to get involved and grow your leadership skills.  Additionally, being a member of NHS is a competitive extracurricular activity for college, scholarship, and job applications!

Once verified, you will have automatic membership in our NHS Chapter for one semester. Thereafter, maintain those requirements for this chapter in order to maintain your membership.*
