Welcome from our Director of Academic Affairs and Engagement
Housed in the University of Missouri’s College of Education, Mizzou K-12 offers students remarkable educational opportunities. Our school is uniquely steeped in both a legacy of tradition and a foundation of innovation. We trace our roots to the early University’s elementary and high school lab schools. We map our future to a twenty-first century platform of applied, blended, online, and interdisciplinary potential.
Through working with international peers in innovative online, blended, and CoTeachSM courses, students at Mizzou K-12 have the opportunity to learn in a new kind of classroom. Our faculty and staff include cutting-edge instructors who want to venture new answers to age-old questions in education. Our students are the fortunate beneficiaries of these efforts.
Mizzou K-12 is proud to offer high quality coursework (including Advanced Placement courses) for students grades 6–12. Students are able to join our school for a single course or to become a full-time “Tiger” through one of our high school diploma programs. Our most recent diploma path, Mizzou Direct, includes the potential for automatic acceptance into the University of Missouri following high school graduation.
As the Director of Academic Affairs at Mizzou K-12, I spend my days working with teachers, students, and schools both close to home and across the globe. At Mizzou K-12 we believe it takes a global village to educate students. Whether you are a student, family, school, or an entire district, I invite you to visit with us about ways to become part of our global learning community at Mizzou K-12.
